As the Assistant Director conducting market research in the Group Benefits industry, you will design, manage and analyze research projects with a focus on end consumers and/or insurance brokers utilizing group benefits industry benchmarking reports and information. This position provides data analysis and insight into industry products using software such as Excel, SPSS, and/or Tableau.

Qualifications include:
  • Experience in group & worksite benefits industry preferred.
  • Ability to design, execute and analyze primary quantitative and qualitative marketing research
  • Experience with independent questionnaire design, sample plan, methodology/supplier selection, data collection, data analysis, and compelling presentation of information and insights.
  • Creative thinker, problem solver, well organized, and extremely detail oriented
  • Primary marketing research experience on the client or vendor side  - 5 plus years experience
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize insights from existing primary and secondary sources.
  • Solid understanding of the role traditional and evolving marketing research plays in strategic decision-making.
Additional experience and skills:
  • Effective project management, organizational skills and data analysis skills.
  • Strong writing and verbal skills with the ability to communicate research data/insights in a detailed compelling format.
  • Excel, SPSS, and/or Tableau.
  • Understanding or experience with brand development, brand tracking, positioning, value proposition development and user design with the customer experience in mind.
  • Leadership Skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Master’s degree in a related area is a plus.
